Did you read an interesting article or see a thought-provoking infographic that you would like to share? If so, the easiest thing to do is post it on the Destination: Europa Facebook page or share it on Twitter. We ask that you only post content on the following topics: Europa science, other scientific results with a connection to Europa, missions to Europa, planetary science funding, or the positive impacts of NASA and space science in general.
Single-slide science:
Would a Europa fly-by mission enable you to do better science? If so, please consider sharing your story by creating a one-slide science “nugget” that we can post on our blog and distribute through social media.
When creating your nugget, describe your current research and how it relates to Europa and a new mission. If you don’t actually study Europa, that’s okay, as long as you have relevant science questions. For example, if you study the surfaces of Ganymede or Enceladus or the orbital evolution of resonant bodies, you can easily show how a Europa mission could help you answer important questions. You are also welcome to submit more than one nugget and/or a nugget that is more casual (e.g. something funny or an interesting infographic) or one that focuses on budgets, the public usefulness of NASA missions, etc.
Below, you will find two sample nuggets. You are *not* required to follow the format of these nuggets. However, we would prefer that you include the following items:
– Your name and affiliation
– A statement describing the benefits of a new mission or the acquisition of additional data
– The Destination: Europa logo (we will supply you with a high-res electronic version)

We plan to use our blog to feature op-eds, interviews with planetary scientists (especially those who study icy satellites and/or the outer solar system) and mission experts, open letters, and Congressional leave-behinds produced by the planetary science community.
